Random musings

I don't have enough material to group together and give one title that makes sense. I just have some random musings. But I figured it was about time to update my blog!

I was on the phone with my parents one night and saw Mitchell walk into our master bathroom with a flashlight. He stood in front of the mirror, turned the flashlight on and put it up to his ear. He then turned the ear without the flashlight towards the mirror. Thankfully he didn't see any light coming through. He then took the flashlight and put it on top of his head and opened his mouth wide. Again, he didn't see any light coming through.

I bought Mitchell a Bakugan backpack for school. I put it in our closet and told him he could look at it, but he can't use it until school starts. But he couldn't just look at it. He had to take it out of the closet and inspect every inch of it. I asked him to put it back in the closet. He then told me that he would hide it from himself and then he wouldn't know where it was. Yeah, I didn't fall for that.

Tonight we drove by a Chick-fil-A and Mitchell said, "Mommy, I want you to work at that Chick-fil-A." He said that because he wants me to drive him to camp and I've told him I can't because my work is in a different direction. I tried to explain to him that I don't work at an actual Chick-fil-A restaurant. I don't think he got it though.
