Trying to be tech savvy

I have several friends who have blogs and since this is free and I like to write and I enjoy talking about Mitchell, I thought I would give this a whirl! We'll see how it goes.

Mitchell turned 15 months this past Sunday. He goes for his 15-month checkup on March 1st. I'll post updates after that! He is starting to say more "words" now. Lately, he's been saying a word that starts with a "ga" sound..not sure yet what that is. But the "g" sound is definitely new. He'll almost consistently say "bye-bye" at the appropriate time. One of us will say, "Let's go to school Mitchell" and he'll stand by the gate and the top of the stairs and say "bye-bye". He's also started this thing where he'll hand us something and say "da". We think he's saying "done." He consistently says this when he's finished with his milk.

The other night, he was fussy around his normal "fussy" time and I said it must be time for your milk. Next thing I know, he's in the kitchen crying and pulling on the fridge door. I picked him up and opened the fridge and asked him what he wanted. He pointed to the jug of milk.

We're so proud of his verbal accomplishments. : )

He's enjoying the toddler class. Many of you heard about the mud fight with his friend Zach. He and Zach also enjoy communicating through grunting at each other. When Mitchell gets to his class each morning, he scrambles to sit in a chair at the table like the other kids. He's ready for his breakfast! Of course once he has food in front of him, sometimes he'll eat and sometimes he'll play with the plastic spoon.

That's about it for now...if I write too much now, I won't have anything to say later!

Wow, Tracey! Welcome to the 21st Century! :)

Looking forward to reading future posts. And don't worry about it being fancy. Ours is fancy to cover up the fact that we have nothing useful to say!

You're my inspiration, Greg! Now I need a PDA or Blackberry and I'll be set. I still check out your site every couple of days. I hope Sam is feeling OK and that it doesn't spread to the rest of the household!
