Tonight Mitchell asked for a Band-aid to put on his stuffed puppy. Sounds like something I used to do with my baby dolls!
In a very serious voice, he told me that he "droke" his puppy (translation: broke his puppy). So I asked him how it happened and he said it happened at school today. He said that his puppy needed a boo-boo (Band-aid). I examined the puppy and found that Mitchell had somehow pulled a string in the puppy's chin. So I got out a Band-aid and put it on the puppy's chin and I told Mitchell it was like when he got stitches in his chin.
I think the puppy is feeling much better now that he has a Band-aid!
