Santa

As is our tradition, we headed to North Point Mall to visit the best Santa ever. With the exception of last year when we mistakenly went on Santa's night off, we've seen the same Santa since Mitchell was just a few weeks old.

We decided to get there early and wait for Santa's arrival. Santa rings bells as he comes down the escalator waving and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. I love that moment when he comes down the escalator and the children are in awe as they first catch sight of him. It's so magical and I always get a little teary eyed at that moment.

As we were waiting, Macey ended up falling asleep. So I was nervous about how she would be when we woke her up. Luckily she wasn't grumpy or fussy. I was so worried she would start crying! Instead, she sat on Santa's lap and just stared at him in amazement. She also grabbed his beard.

We found out that Santa is also a Falcons fan. He asked Mitchell if he was going to watch the game later in the day. This Santa is so kind and really loves the children who come to visit. He was so good with Macey and didn't mind that she tugged on his beard a few times. Mitchell asked for LEGOS and Madden 2011 for the Wii.
