What typically happens is we put the tree up one night. Then another night we get all of the decorations down from the attic. There have been a few occasions where it will take us a week or more to get the ornaments on the tree.
Not this year!
Dave is currently unemployed, so that meant he could bring the tree up from the basement and put it up while we were at work and school. From the time he got home from school, Mitchell asked if we could bring the ornaments down from the attic and decorate the tree. So we brought the ornaments down, turned on some Christmas music and started decorating the tree. It was nice to get it done all in one night! And Mitchell was a huge help. He really got into it and helped me until the last ornament went on the tree. He even told me I was doing a good job decorating.
Then Dave and Mitchell put a train around the tree. Macey loved it.
