Father to Son

When I was pregnant with Mitchell and found out we were having a boy, I bought Dave a book titled "Father to Son Life Lessons on Raising a Boy". Mitchell found the book one night and he was flipping through it. Coincidentally, he was was reading the book on the very night that Dave told him that he could not wear his Ravens flag football jersey to school the next day.

As Mitchell is reading the book, he tells me, "Daddy didn't read page 103!" I asked him what page 103 was and he said:

Realize that while he's young, one of your son's favorite things about organized sports is the uniform. Let him wear it to school.

When Dave came into the room, I told Mitchell to read it to him. We all certainly had a good laugh about the coincidence and Mitchell did indeed wear his jersey to school the next day.

I'm thinking Dave needs to read Father to Daughter Life Lessons on Raising a Girl before Macey can read it to him!
