B is for bus

Since Mitchell started in the 3-year-old preschool class, they learn about a new letter each week. The 2nd week of school, they learned about the letter B and what starts with B. They colored a picture of a bus with a big B on it. And we come across the letter B at home, he'll say, "B bus!".

We were watching an ABC episode of "Blue's Clues" and they spelled B-L-U-E on a piece of paper and Mitchell repeated the letters that they spelled out. And I said, "B Blue". And he said, "No, Mommy, B bus!" I guess in his mind right now, bus is the only word that starts with B.

He might be watching a little too much of Blue's Clues. The main character from the show, Joe, has a thinking chair where he thinks about the clues and what they mean. Mitchell now calls his blue chair that we got him for 1st birthday his thinking chair.
