Maybe we need to get a dog

We had dinner at Dennis and Christy's house a couple of weekends ago. Mitchell and Addy love playing together. They have a dog named Dutchess who Mitchell has slowly warmed up to. After dinner, Dennis was helping the kids give Dutchess some treats. So he hands a "cookie" to Mitchell to feed to Dutchess. And Mitchell put the cookie in his own mouth! He just shoved the whole thing in. We were all laughing so hard that it took me a few seconds to get over to him and get it out of his mouth. He never did bite into it...I think once he got it into his mouth (sideways), he really couldn't do much with it. I guess it must not have tasted too bad!!
