$10 juice and other stories

Mitchell got some juice out of the refrigerator the other night and brought it to me to help him with the straw. He told me, "Mommy, Daddy paid $10 for this juice." I asked him why he thought that and he said, "Because it has a 10 on it!" I told him that wasn't the price, but he was convinced that was the price. I guess he doesn't know his dad all that well then...he would never pay $10 for juice! The juice was Minute Maid's Just 10 (calories) juice. I decided not to explain calories to him yet!

We were driving to the pool and Dave was talking about a doctor's appointment. He said, "What did the doctor say..." Before he could get another word out, Mitchell started singing at the top of his lungs, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

We were at one of our favorite Italian restaurants the other night. I was in the midst of ordering a pizza with pepperoni and sausage when Mitchell broke in and said, "But no pickles!" I know he doesn't like pickles on his cheeseburgers, but I've never tried to serve him pizza with pickles! I'm really not sure where he got that one from.
