I noticed a pattern this past weekend. Mitchell will say that he likes something. Then he'll ask where it came from or who bought it for him.
For example:
Mitchell: Mommy, I like your new* hairdryer. Who "buyed" that for you?
Me: I bought it.
Mitchell: Where did you get it?
Me: The store.
Mitchell: Which store?
Me: Ulta.
Mitchell: OK
*I've had this hairdryer for a good 3 months now!
Mitchell: Mommy, I like my star blankie. Who got it for me?
Me: Mommy got it for you.
Mitchell: Where, Mommy? Where did you buy it? Target?
Me: No, I bought it at a special store.
Mitchell: I like my cloud blanket. Who buyed it for me?
Me: Mommy and Daddy.
Mitchell: Where?
Me: I don't remember...probably the baby store.
And on and on and on. Sometimes it's hard to remember where I bought something that is almost 5 years old!
