I've been wanting to change the name of my blog for a while now, but I couldn't come up with a name that I liked. I tried to come up with something clever that incorporated our last name (Preslan), but couldn't come up with anything.
Then "Remember When" came to me. For one, I love the Alan Jackson song. (I've quoted my favorite lyrics above in my header.) Also, Mitchell is very fond of saying, "Mommy, do you remember when..." Except he says "bamember" instead of "remember". He has a great memory and he often asks if I remember the things he is thinking about. Most of the time, he refers to memories by how old he was. For example, "Mommy, do you bamember when I was a baby and I cried a lot?" Or, "Mommy, do you bamember when I was four and I went to the beach?"
So when my memory gets worse than it is (pregnancy and raising a child seems to have ruined mine), I can look back and "remember when".
