This kid makes me LOL

I wanted to capture a few funny things that Mitchell has said over the past few days. I'll forget them if I wait too long!

We just ended a week-long beach vacation with my parents, sister, brother (and his family). Mitchell and I left the beach on Friday with my parents and went back to their house for the night. On Friday night after dinner, my Dad was fixing Mitchell some vanilla ice cream. He asked if I wanted some and I told him I didn't want any unless it was chocolate. He said he would make it chocolate. So he found some kind of chocolate stuff to put on top of my ice cream. While he was doing that, I asked Mitchell if I should trust Granddad. As I ate my ice cream, Mitchell turned to me and asked, "Do you trust Granddad yet?"

While we were in town, we visited my high school friend Teresa and her son Fred. Fred gave Mitchell 3 marbles. When we got back to my parents' house, he asked me how to play marbles. I told him his Granddad would show him. On Saturday morning, my Dad explained how to play. He said you normally play outside...you start out by drawing a circle in the dirt. You get the shooter marble and shoot it at the other marbles and try to knock the other person's marbles out of the circle. Mitchell didn't understand what he meant by shooting a marble and he asked, "With a gun??!"

We met up with Dave at the Red Robin in Greenville, SC, on Saturday. Dad pulled out the GPS as we got closer. When it came time to exit and turn off of the ramp, a lady's voice started telling Dad which turns to make. We were sitting on the exit ramp waiting to turn left (since that is what the voice said to do). And Mitchell said, "The light is red, girl!"
