Mitchell's handwriting

Mitchell's teachers and I have been very impressed with how much Mitchell's handwriting has improved over the last few weeks. Sometimes he's in a rush and doesn't take the time to write the letters correctly. But something has changed over the past few weeks and his handwriting is actually becoming very neat.

He brought this home last week. I'm not sure what the assignment was, but it seems to be some sort of book report that he wrote about a book he was reading. Mitchell just said they were supposed to write about the book without copying sentences from the book. The first few sentences make sense, but I'm not sure what happened after that -- either he got tired or wasn't reading what he was writing.


It says:
The penguins had two big white eggs an(d) Mother Penguin sat on the eggs. Mother Penguin went fishing. Mother Penguin I must go fishing get fish to eat so Father Penguin went fish.
