Last night, I videotaped Mitchell feeding himself yogurt with a spoon. While I was taping him, I was trying to get him to say some of the words that he knows (all gone, thank you, bye-bye, get down, etc.) He wasn't much into talking, so he didn't say a whole lot on camera.
When Dave got home, we hooked the camera up to the TV to watch the footage. Mitchell was entranced. He was just staring at the TV...probably thinking "Who is that adorable little boy?" : ) We got to the part of the video where I was trying to get him to say words that he knew. I would say, "Mitchell, say bye-bye". The Mitchell on TV wouldn't say much, but Mitchell watching himself on TV would starting saying "bye-bye" over and over and over again. It was hilarious. He was repeating everything I was saying. I would have loved to have another video camera so we could have taped him watching himself and repeating after me.
