Lately, when I come home from work, I put on some pajama pants that are much more comfortable and warmer than the pants I wear to work. As soon as Mitchell sees me in my pajama pants, he says he wants to put on his pajama pants. He'll ask me, "Mommy, are you going to wear your pajama pants? I want pajama pants." Then he says, "Mommy, are you wearing your regular shirt? I want to wear my regular shirt." He won't do anything else until he has on his pajama pants.
On the weekends, he would keep his pajamas on all day long if we would let him. And he will not get dressed in regular clothes until at least one of us has on regular clothes. If I tell him that he needs to get dressed he'll ask if we're getting dressed. If I still have on my pajamas, it's very hard to get him dressed!
The easiest days to get him dressed for school are the days when they have Pajama Day and it's acceptable to wear pajamas to school!
