Saturday, January 17th

Since we didn't have breakfast reservations, we decided to take it easy and sleep in on Saturday. We ate breakfast in our room and headed out a little after 9am. Since we had lunch reservations at Hollywood and Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios, we went to that park first. We were in the vicinity of Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage so we decided to wait in line for the show. After the show, we rode Star Tours again. Then we headed to Hollywood and Vine.

I have been schooled now in the names of the Little Einsteins characters that we saw at lunch. Leo and June were there along with JoJo and Goliath from JoJo's circus.

After lunch we took a boat over to Epcot. We headed to Soarin' first and found that there was a 70 minute wait. We decided to just wait it out and I don't think we ended up waiting even a full hour. The ride was good, but too realistic for me! We had Fast Passes for Mission: Space. So we headed there next. We opted for the more intense orange-colored ride. I think Mitchell was the only one who felt OK when we got done with that ride. That was another one of his favorites that he kept talking about.

As we were heading out of the park, I tried to get a few pictures of the geo sphere. Mitchell also wanted to take pictures. So we told him he could take a picture of Kerri and me. So he got ready to take the picture and said he was going to have to take it in 2 parts since the geo sphere was so big. So here are his 2 pictures of the sphere and then Kerri and me.

We headed back to the resort and took a boat ride over to Downtown Disney. We had to hit the Lego store first. I think Mitchell was a little overwhelmed by the selection. He kept picking up various kits saying that he wanted them. We kept telling him no. So he finally asked Dave to show him what he did want. So Dave found a Star Wars Lego keychain on clearance (of course). But Mitchell seemed happy with his selection!

I wonder how long it takes to put something like this together??! I can't imagine. I have a hard enough time following the directions on the Lego kits that we do have. I can't imagine a life-sized project!

We ate dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express and then Dave, Mitchell and my parents headed back to the resort while Kerri and I did some shopping. The ride back to the resort on the boat was pretty cold! We met up with Mom and Dad when we got back and make plans for our last day!
