Macey is one month old!

May 26th -- one month after Macey was born. It came up way too fast. We've enjoyed every single minute (yes, even the sleepless minutes) of getting to know our daughter and Mitchell has enjoyed his baby sister. He still likes to hold her, show her off to his friends, rub her head, help with diaper changes, cover her with blankets when she cries and sit beside her every chance he gets. We went out to dinner with some friends last Friday night and as we got out of the car to head into the restaurant, Mitchell said, "I call sitting next to Macey!"

I tried to get some pictures of a not-so-willing subject today. It's hard to get a 1 month old to pose, smile or sit up. But I tried anyway!

In pictures 2 - 5, she's wearing a very special dress given to her by her grandparents. I wonder if she'll be able to wear it next month for her 2-month picture!
