Happy 7th Birthday, Mitchell!

Had to get this posted before Mitchell's birthday is over. : ) I had planned on having this written by his birth time...5:18pm. However, we got sidetracked with a trip to the ER for Macey. She has a stomach bug and was vomiting to the point that she needed some medicine. Thankfully she is feeling much better now!

Mitchell has had a great birthday! He was up before 7am this morning. He was very anxious to open his birthday gifts. He was most excited about his new Falcons hooded sweatshirt. Then we had his favorite cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Grandmother and Granddad were in town, so they came over as well. We spent the morning around the house and then went to McAlister's (Mitchell's choice) for lunch.

He and Dave left around 2:30 to head to Chattanooga, TN, to the aquarium there. They have a program called "Sleep in the Deep" that his Cub Scout pack was attending.

On top of all of that, I also took cupcakes to school yesterday. I'm not sure if the cupcakes or Macey was a bigger hit with the kids!

We had his birthday party on November 6th. We had a Putt Putt party with his friends.

THEN, we'll also celebrate with the Preslans over Thanksgiving. I'd say his birthday has lasted the entire month! But there is nothing wrong with that. I'd say he's worth all of the celebrating.

Happy Birthday, Mitchell! You have grown up so much this past year. You're a great big brother to Macey and Mommy and Daddy could not be more proud of how you're doing in school and how well you're doing playing baseball. We are so proud to be your parents!
