I've been tagged!

I have been tagged by friend Cammie. So now I have to come up with a list of 7 random things about myself. Then I have to tag my friends and hope that they do the same. (Although I will probably cheat and not do that part.)

I am so not used to writing about myself....but here goes.

1. I used to be the editor-in-chief of my college newspaper.
2. I can bake, but I don't "cook". If dinner needs to be made, Dave makes it. But if we need a batch of chocolate chip cookies, I'm on it. I even learned how to quadruple the recipe when I was younger b/c we made huge batches of cookies for our beach trips.
3. I like to organize things like lunches with big groups of friends (like my former co-workers from Harland) and baby/wedding showers for co-workers. I like to do that b/c I had 2 awesome showers when I worked at Harland!
4. I hate driving in any downtown area...too many one-way streets.
5. All of the books I own look like they haven't even been read b/c I don't fold down pages and I don't bend the spine of the book. I'm very picky about loaning out my books. One year my aunt Bonnie gave me a old, beat up book at Christmas as a joke.
6. I have a knack for remembering weird details about past events...I can remember what I was wearing or what someone else was wearing. One very vivid memory entails a family camping trip where it rained and our tent leaked. It was the last day of our trip, so most of our clothes were dirty. And the clothes I had laid out the night before were wet. So I had to wear dirty clothes...a white shirt with a frog appliqued on it with matching blue shorts. I had to wear my brother's dirty baseball socks. I don't remember much else about the trip other than the outfit I had to wear home that day!
7. One of my favorite Christmases was when my Dad replaced the diamond in my Mom's engagement ring. I got roller skates that year and my sister got a tape recorder so we have the whole thing on tape.
