We got the Christmas tree out of storage last night and put it up. Mitchell hung his ornament that he made at school and that was the extent of decorating last night.
But as we going to bed, Mitchell asked if Santa was coming tonight since we put the tree up. And this morning he asked again if Santa had come.
I tried to explain that he doesn't come until Christmas Eve...not when we put the tree up! We have an Advent calendar and I told him we were on Day 4 and we had to wait until Day 24.
So hopefully he understands now that he has to be patient and wait just a few more weeks. And of course he doesn't understand that I would prefer that time slow down just a little bit. It feels like Halloween was last week!

It is coming up fast this year that is for sure. I think my kiddos will ask every fricking day if it is Christmas and we have one of those countdown things too
