Catching Up - Part 2

Later in August, we took a trip to our family beach house in Garden City, SC. We invited another family to join us and we had a great time together!

On Friday night, we grilled out ribs and brats and then the kids played on the beach.





When my family came to the beach house, the kids always ate at the bar. So our kids sat up there to eat breakfast.

We had beautiful weather, so we spent all day playing on the beach.







After everyone showered and got dressed, it was time to attempt to take some pictures.





After pictures on the deck of the beach house, we tried to get back into the house to get shoes, purses, etc. We found that Dave had locked the door. Luckily our friends had their car keys, so we drove up to the rental office and got an extra set of keys. After eating a yummy dinner of fried shrimp and hushpuppies, we walked around the main street in Garden City. The kids did some jumping and then we walked on the pier on got ice cream.

The weekend went by way too quickly. We decided that if either family wins the lottery, we'll build a huge beach house for all of us to live in together!
