I had not seen Zach's mom in quite a while since I take Mitchell to school just 2 days/week now. But I ran into her this morning. I found out that Zach is moving to the 2-year-old class next Monday, August 8th. I'm not sure how Mitchell will handle his friend not being around anymore.
When we pulled into the parking lot, he saw Zach's car and started saying his name. When we got out of the car, Zach was walking toward the building and Mitchell started yelling his name and Zach replied by saying, "Mitchell!" They ran into the school together and started roaming the halls together while I caught up with Zach's mom. She's 5 months pregnant and they are having another boy in December.
It will be sad when Zach moves to the other classroom. But hopefully Mitchell won't be too far behind him!
